Mondragó Nature Park
The Mondragó Nature Park covers more than seven hundred hectares and boasts a unique diversity of landscapes. Located in Santanyí, in the southeast of the island, this park has a special protection area for birds, where you’ll get to see various protected animals.
What’s more, Mondragó is one of the best examples of nature in Mallorca, as it combines diverse environments such as pine forests, impressive jagged coastlines, fantastic orchid fields, holm oak groves, heavenly beaches lapped by crystal-clear waters and home to native Mediterranean species, and freshwater or brackish pools such as s’Amarador and Fonts de n’Alis. Set off on a fantastic excursion on foot or by bike ride around Mondragó Nature Park and marvel at this privileged haven of major ecological value, rounding the trip off at the picture-postcard coves of Cala Mondragó or Cala des Moros.
