Cabo de Formentor
The Cabo de Formentor is a headland at the northernmost point of the island, dubbed by some locals as the ‘meeting point of the winds’ due to the clash of the winds and the waves against the rocks.
With steep slopes and cliffs that can soar three hundred meters high, this is a place with simply spectacular views of the Mediterranean. One of the main landmarks is the lighthouse dating back to 1863, from which you can see Menorca on a clear day.
The Colomer viewpoint, also known as Sa Creueta, is another mandatory stop. The scenery here is breathtaking, a fabulous fusion of sea and mountains. We recommend going at dusk to marvel at the sunset from this balcony over the Mediterranean.
