Es Baluard

Opened in 2004 and located in an old bastion from the Renaissance period, is the Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art of Palma de Mallorca, Es Baluard.

The walls of this museum, divided across three floors, house a permanent collection of renowned artists such as Picasso, Gauguin and Miró, who at the time donated or donated their works, as well as temporary exhibitions that show the more innovative part of contemporary art. On top of this, the museum also promotes other artistic expressions such as music, dance, theatre and poetry.

With the aim of bringing the museum’s artistic proposals to different audiences, every Wednesday at 1pm and 5pm (depending on the date) free guided tours are offered to groups of between one and ten people, without needing to book in advance.
