Arabic baths
The Arabic baths of Palma de Mallorca are the most well-preserved Islamic structures on the island. They are located in the gardens of the stately home of Can Fontirroig, where only the central room for hot baths is preserved, along with another rectangular room with a semi-circular vault. The first has a dome with portholes that allow the passage of light and eight columns with horseshoe-style arches.
Don’t forget to visit one of the most emblematic structures of Mallorcan culture and delve into one of the key stages of the history of the island. Furthermore, the baths are just a stone’s throw from the Cathedral of Santa María and the Almudaina Palace, so why not take the opportunity to explore these essential sites afterwards?
